It was such an honoured that Nina Mai invited us to perform at her school.. There were free momoms to eat plus the school’s counselor gave us 2 big chocolates as a token of appreciation. :D When it comes to sweet things, undeniably is happeh as a child. ;DD Thank you so much Nina and Rose for the priceless experiences~!

Was taken few months ago which it is noticeable. lol! (My chubbiness isn't that obvious here tehee) Tho, I made this private all this while. I've Been loving this song since High School and it was my sisters and I favorite song from The Cranberries beside Zombie.:D

Mid-Autumn Festival 2012

Combination of the Moon by me and my sister.

We had 3 auditions for this festival. On the first one we sang 'Honey honey honey' by Elva but the judges didn't like it. So on the second audition, we decided to sing Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin by Theresa Teng. The day before the audition we decided to combine Close to you from Carpenter with Theresa Teng's song. It was a last minutes mash up but it turned out great and the judges liked it. Third audition was with Kadazan Traditional attire. 

During the day of the festival we had sound check and it was pretty awesome where we got to see all sorts of performances.. It was a nice experience.. We got so hungry right after the first sound check but as we went back stage they bought 100+ boxes of Domino's pizza and free Mooncakes. :D tehee.. The show went Great maybe abit of pitchy problem but it was a nice experience . We met friends and we had a great night. Thanks to mama and papa and kakak CC for the Traditional attires from KK.. XDD 

Open Mic at Zeal.

Open Mic at Zeal in Henderson. It was kind-of a long journey to go to Zeal but its worth going. I watched all of the invited Singer/songwriters performances before it was my turn. I couldn't deny that I was really (extremely) nervous. Always had the stage fright and still has it. lol! Anyway it went okay. The one that was recording upfront is my friend, Mars. She was the one who invited me to perform in this event which happened to be her friend's event. :)))

Would always agree if someone said KRU was the best group in Malaysia during the 90’s. They were!  During when they were a hit, one of my boy cousins had a KRU karaoke video cassette and we would gathered at our house (Since all the Moidon’s families live next to each other) and would play it and copied every single KRU’s dance step while singing to their song. hehe It was lots of fun back then. As the KRU became a hit, Femanin came. They were under KRU production (beside Elite). They would play Dunia cinta song in a radio as well as in TV. Me and my sisters went crazy over this song and listening to it reminds us of our super sweet childhood. :D Tehee.. Gonna love this song always! J

Whitney Houston - I look to you

Dady’s favourite song. ;D Adore and love Whitney. I could still remember when my dad bought a CD of  Whitney houstan’s concert that he would play it on weekends from morning to afternoon with loud volume (plus Celine Dion and Mariah Carey but on each different weekends) hehe. Love Papa.

Gotye ft Kimbra - Somebody that you used to know

My Hobbycon friend, Jonathan requested a song by Gotye. Honestly, didn’t know who Gotye was at first but knew about Kimbra months ago but everything about this song is unique in some ways. I got hooked and I couldn’t wait to play (and i’ve been wondering why it didn’t get famous since this song is addictive). My sister, even, fell in love with it that she kept on playing the song over and over again. After dinner with Emilia, we started recording but Since the night was running off quite quickly, we had to continue to the next night and the next night went..> :D I hope you guys like it.. J

Zombie - The Pretty Reckless

It was an Easter holiday, longing to do a cover even though my first string on the guitar broke (It happened when I first arrived that when I tune my guitar up, didn’t realized that I put C instead of a G, it when tight and broke but It was rusty so I guess my guitar would say Joanna you have to by me a new one.. but didn’t know where to buy one) but.. eagerly felt that I had to do at least a cover before I went and buy a new string. Went and modified the tab a bit and it went out pretty well.. ;) hehe Winjoy~

This song is requested by the wonderful Corinne Bagiu.When I first got the request I went straight to youtube, feeling excited and honestly scared (of the strumming pattern) hehe but my excitement conquered the overall feeling. Practiced and practiced. Then at the final stage me and mysister decided the location. She has been recording and I've been contributing my vocal cords in 4 locations for 3 days which at the end we picked the last one. The second last location was pretty too, with aluminium steel wall as my prop, but the sound and my vocal cord went wrong and poor on my sister, it was as freezing as it could be. So we moved on to the third day. It went pretty good as well as the temperature and the view behind. :) Then there we knew that this video was the one. :) ehehehe

I have been playing this song with my guitar since weeks before this was requested but I wasn't paying enough attention in it, was thinking to make a cover but wasn't too confident. Since Lydialov requested it.. well, pretty much I then spent alot and alot of my time practicing because since i am an Immature at guitar playing, making my Lydialov (and everyone) happy is one of main priority. :) Love seeing them happy, they actually made my day into Sunshine and lot and lots of rainbow :). I Received some song request which I can't play :( (I wish i had talent like Jonathan Tse, He is soo good > He is my SuperDuper Guru! and Teddy too!) But... I promise I Will try my veryvery hard on it! Gonna practice more! ;D

BITTER SERENADE

I was editing my band Bitter Serenade’s facebook page. Since we will no longer be jamming and performing together, I admit that I miss them very much. The fact that, my band members are just the type of so comfortable to be with each other, they are the best band mates I have ever had (although I never had any band mates before but I knew from the start that they are just the best!). Through hardship that we went through this band was the best of all. We just coped up with each other.

Gonna miss you Bitter Serenade. ;)

The song that I fell in love with is from a band called Automatic Loveletter whose singer is Juliet Simms currently in CeeLo's team at The Voice. :) The Talented Juliet Simms sang cover by the Beatles and nailed everything with her husky voice! got to love her.. :DD ehehe nway I hope you'll enjoy this cover. :)

I’d forgotten the beginning part of Edward scissor hands’ movie. I couldn’t even remember that Winona’s mother was an Avon sales woman and she was actually the one who found him (Johnny Depp). Came to the ending part of the movie, that had made my tears gone wildly down *I...can’t.. help it, Such emotional, because I was so-very near to the television* but thankfully even when it went wildly down, it went silently down.. ;) Pretty Winona and mysterious Johnny Depp. Glad we’ve watched it, :) hehe
